Overview

We are seeking an experienced Insurance Defense Attorney to join our legal team at Liberty Mutual. This role offers a competitive salary range of $79,900-$132,600 per year, with a typical starting salary of $91,200-$100,000. In addition, we offer flexible time off, including 20 days of annual accrual, as well as a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability coverage, retirement savings plan with company match, and more.

As an Insurance Defense Attorney, you will have the opportunity to represent Liberty Mutual and our policyholders in moderately complex civil litigation matters, involving claims for monetary damages or compensation for personal injuries or property damage of moderate value. You will manage the entire legal process, from investigation and discovery through trial preparation, court proceedings, and negotiating settlements as required. You will also have the chance to collaborate with other departments and mentor junior attorneys, while staying up to date with the latest developments in insurance law and utilizing technology to facilitate your work.
