The Role

- Senior Associates with the State & Local Tax (SALT) practice work with a variety of clients, from Fortune 500 companies to venture-backed startups
- Responsibilities include reviewing and preparing state and local income tax returns, providing tax controversy audit support, and assisting with project management and client solutions
- Additional duties include conducting research, drafting and reviewing memoranda and client deliverables, and supervising and mentoring Associates and Interns
- Formal State & Local tax training, on the job training, direct feedback from top tax leaders, and opportunities for additional training are provided

The Requirements

- 2+ years of relevant tax experience
- Bachelor’s and/or relevant advanced degree (MAcc, MST, JD)
- Accounting, Finance, Economics or related degree preferred
- Minimum GPA of
- Advanced credential or desire to obtain advanced credential allowing for IRS client representation (. CPA, JD)
- Self-starter with the initiative to seek out opportunities and ability to work successfully in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Proficient use of technology
- Must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
