The ideal candidate will have a strong technical or scientific background, with a preference for advanced degrees in life sciences or backgrounds in electrical engineering, computer science, mechanical engineering, or closely related fields. This role requires 3-4 years of patent litigation experience and active membership in the State Bar with compliance with CLE requirements. The successful candidate should possess superior writing skills, excellent academic credentials, and excel at conducting complex legal analysis. Effective communication with a diverse group of clients, attorneys, and staff is essential, and the candidate must thrive in a team-oriented environment, contributing to the success of the legal team.

Duties:

• Handle patent litigation cases and related legal matters.
• Conduct complex and detailed analyses of legal issues in patent disputes.
• Prepare and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Assist in all phases of litigation, from case inception to trial.
• Conduct legal research and stay up-to-date with relevant laws and regulations.
• Communicate and collaborate effectively with clients, attorneys, and support staff.
• Attend hearings, depositions, and other legal proceedings as required.
• Provide strategic legal advice to clients on patent litigation matters.

Requirements:

• Strong technical or scientific background.
• Preference for advanced degrees in life sciences or technical backgrounds in electrical engineering, computer science, mechanical engineering, or closely related fields.
• 3-4 years of patent litigation experience.
