A law firm is seeking a Personal Injury Associate Attorney for its Las Vegas office. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8 years of personal injury experience as a Plaintiff's attorney. Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is required. Managing a diverse caseload of personal injury claims. Working closely with other attorneys to develop case strategies. Conducting legal research and leading case management teams. Responsible for pre-litigation, litigation, trial preparation, and trial. Managing all phases of personal injury cases from intake through trial or settlement.

 

Duties:

  • Conducting thorough case investigations to determine liability and damages.
  • Drafting and filing legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
  • Negotiating settlements with insurance companies and opposing counsel.
  • Representing clients in court, arbitration, and mediation proceedings.
  • Providing exceptional client service, keeping clients informed about the progress of their cases.

 

Requirements:

  • Lawyer in Good Standing to practice law in the state of Nevada.
  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of state laws, regulations, and legal procedures pertaining to personal injury cases.
  • Strong research and analytical skills with the ability to effectively interpret and apply legal precedents, statutes, and regulations.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in conducting legal research, preparing legal briefs, and providing sound legal advice to clients.

 

Education and Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admitted to the Nevada State Bar.
  • Minimum of 8 years of personal injury experience as a Plaintiff's attorney.

 

Skills:

  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research databases.
