A law firm in San Francisco is seeking an experienced Employment Litigation Of Counsel with a minimum of 9 years of litigation experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for defending and litigating a wide range of employment-related claims, providing counsel to employers on employment and labor law issues, and representing clients in various legal forums.

 

Job Details:

  • Defend and litigate lawsuits involving a broad spectrum of employment-related claims and agency charges.
  • Advise, counsel, and train employers on various employment and labor law issues.
  • Represent employers in court, arbitration, administrative agencies, and mediation in employment matters, including class/collective actions, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage-and-hour, contract, employment tort, and non-compete cases.
  • Preference for Class Action/ PAGA experience.
  • Supervise associate and paralegal work, including delegating assignments and providing feedback.
  • Possess an in-depth understanding of current agency procedures at both state and federal levels.
  • Demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Pay meticulous attention to detail and uphold a commitment to excellence.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exhibit strong organizational, time management, and project management skills.
  • Maintain a commitment to professionalism, collegiality, and teamwork.

 

Experience:

  • Minimum of 9 years of experience in employment litigation.
  • Significant experience managing and running litigation cases in a first-chair capacity.

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Excellent academic credentials.
  • Current California Bar admission in good standing.

 

Skills:

  • Class Action/ PAGA experience preferred.
  • Supervisory experience with the ability to delegate and provide constructive feedback.
  • In-depth understanding of current agency procedures (state and federal).
  • Strong organizational, time management, and project management skills.
