The firm is open to candidates who operate as solo practitioners or within small firms and have a demonstrated track record in residential and/or commercial closings. Successful applicants will be required to bring an existing book of business to contribute to the firm's growth and client base.

Duties:

  • Manage all aspects of residential and/or commercial closing transactions, from contract review to closing.
  • Conduct thorough title searches and examinations to identify any issues or discrepancies.
  • Draft and review legal documents, including purchase agreements, deeds, and closing statements.
  • Coordinate with clients, real estate agents, lenders, and other parties involved in transactions.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and contractual obligations.
  • Resolve any legal or transactional issues that may arise during the conveyancing process.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to conveyancing transactions.
  • Provide legal counsel to clients on real estate matters and related legal issues.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 1-6 years of experience in residential and/or commercial closings.
  • Active license to practice law in the state of Massachusetts.
  • Proven experience handling conveyancing transactions from start to finish.
  • Strong knowledge of real estate laws, regulations, and procedures.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple transactions simultaneously.
  • A self-starter with a client-focused mindset.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active membership in the Massachusetts State Bar Association or equivalent bar association.
