A law firm in Morristown is actively seeking a skilled Commercial Litigation Associate Attorney with a focus on complex commercial/financial services, class action, or construction litigation. The ideal candidate, admitted in either New Jersey or New York, will contribute valuable expertise in handling a range of litigation matters, bringing 3-5 years of experience to the firm.

Duties:

• Manage and handle commercial litigation cases, including complex financial services, class action, and construction matters.
• Conduct legal research and analysis on case-specific issues.
• Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery.
• Participate in case strategy development and client meetings.
• Represent clients in court proceedings, arbitrations, and mediation.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the New Jersey or New York Bar.
• 3-5 years of litigation experience, preferably in commercial litigation.
• Experience in complex commercial/financial services, class action, or construction litigation is a plus.
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a legal team.
