Summary:

We are currently seeking an Insurance Tax Manager to join our Financial Services Tax practice at PwC in the United States. In this role, you will have the opportunity to help our clients meet their tax obligations while managing the impact tax has on their business. You will also act as a strategic consultant for clients' tax affairs, providing advice on local and overseas tax matters and helping them understand the pricing implications of goods and services between related parties. Additionally, you will help clients navigate the frequently changing and complex national and international tax environment, while addressing challenges such as stringent capital requirements, operational tax risks, and tax implications of investing in different jurisdictions.

A Master's degree is preferred, along with thorough knowledge of the tax issues affecting the domestic and/or international insurance industries, and experience with FAS 109, FIN 48, tax provision preparation audit and review, and corporate and partnership tax compliance. You should also have experience in identifying and addressing client needs, managing resources and project workflow, and providing written and verbal feedback to staff. Familiarity with a CRM system is preferred.
