Executive Director - Business Support Services KPMG is seeking an experienced Executive Director to join our Office of General Counsel (OGC) as an Associate General Counsel on the Litigation team. This role offers the opportunity to provide legal support and counsel on civil litigation, third-party subpoenas, regulatory investigations, and more. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 18 years of experience in a well-regarded law firm or in-house legal department, with a JD or LLM from an accredited law school and licensure to practice law in the . Responsibilities: - Provide legal counsel on civil litigation, third-party subpoenas, and regulatory investigations - Represent KPMG and its professionals in civil litigation proceedings and regulatory investigations - Develop and implement strategies to defend litigation claims and bring them to a successful resolution - Supervise and work collaboratively with outside counsel and other members of OGC - Report to and consult with senior leadership on legal issues arising in litigation and regulatory matters - Assist in developing financial projections for supervised matters Qualifications: - Minimum of 18 years of experience in a well-regarded law firm or in-house legal department - JD or LLM from an accredited law school and licensure to practice law in the . - Experience with complex civil litigations and regulatory investigations in the accounting or financial industries is a plus - Ability to manage multiple litigations and projects simultaneously with high-quality results - Excellent analytical, writing, and communication skills - Strong collaboration skills and ability to build partnerships across departments and with external stakeholders - Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion at all levels Salary Range: $331,000 - $737,000 (California) KPMG offers a comprehensive and competitive benefits package, including medical and dental plans, vision coverage, disability and life insurance, 401(k) plans, and personal well-being benefits to support mental health.
