H2: Work with top clients and tackle complex accounting and financial reporting challenges.

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Manager to join our Financial Markets Business Advisory team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of audit, regulatory, valuation, and financial analyses services, providing solutions to our clients' most complex accounting and financial reporting challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution
- Encourage open communication and invite opinions from all team members
- Effectively handle ambiguous and unstructured problems and situations
- Initiate coaching conversations at all levels
- Easily switch between big picture thinking and managing relevant details
- Anticipate stakeholder needs and develop potential solutions
- Contribute technical knowledge in your area of expertise
- Foster an environment where people and technology thrive together
- Navigate the complexities of cross-border and diverse teams and engagements
- Initiate and lead open conversations with teams, clients and stakeholders to build trust
- Uphold the firm's code of ethics and business conduct

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- 7+ years of experience in managerial roles involving financial issues, capital markets, and product life cycle
- CPA License in work office state; Levels 1 & 2 of the CFA exam; JD, PhD, MBA or Master's degree in Finance, Tax, Quantitative Statistics, Financial Engineering, Economics, Real Estate Finance or Hospitality; State Certified Appraiser License, Member Appraisal Institute (MAI), or completion of all requirements for CCIM designation; CHA; or Project Management Professional (PMP)
- Knowledge of financial products and issues faced by both issuers and investors
- Ability to apply accounting, tax, and regulatory standards to complex financial instruments
- Experience with valuation analysis of financial instruments and structured products
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple tasks
- Proficiency in conducting research and analyzing industry and financial matters
- Agile and flexible in adapting to changing client needs and market conditions
- Experience with financial modeling and industry software such as INTEX, TREPP, Bloomberg, CapIQ, or advanced Excel
- Knowledge of accounting treatments for financial products and securitizations held by financial institutions
- Familiarity with LIBOR reform and alternative reference rates
- Strong leadership skills and experience managing teams
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time
