A law firm in Silver Spring is seeking an Entry-Level Immigration Attorney with a demonstrated interest in immigration law and a commitment to delivering exceptional legal services to clients. The ideal candidate will have strong legal skills, including research and writing abilities, and a deep understanding of immigration law. Fluency in Spanish is preferred.

Duties:

• Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on immigration matters.
• Prepare and file immigration petitions, applications, and supporting documents with USCIS, DOS, EOIR, and other government agencies.
• Conduct legal research and analysis of immigration laws, regulations, and policies.
• Monitor immigration policy and regulatory changes and provide guidance on compliance.
• Collaborate with other attorneys and staff to ensure efficient and effective representation of clients.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients and potential clients.
• Handle a significant caseload and meet minimum case completion metrics.
• Work with paralegals through case processes.
• Complete work with limited to no guidance, though collaboration among colleagues is encouraged.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active Bar membership in good standing.
• 1 year of experience in drafting/writing legal documents.
• Fluency in Spanish is preferred.
