Salary: $60,000 - $90,000 Title: Tax Staff - Experienced Experience: Minimum of 1 year of related experience Department: Tax Services Moss Adams is currently seeking a Tax Staff with at least 1 year of related experience to join our team in Phoenix, AZ. As a Tax Staff, you will work with a variety of clients, including public and privately owned middle-market companies, not-for-profit organizations, and high net worth individuals, to provide quality tax solutions. H1: Join Moss Adams as a Tax Staff in Phoenix, AZ H2: Champion Authenticity and Empower Others as a Tax Staff at Moss Adams Key Responsibilities: - Prepare tax returns for various types of entities, including individuals, corporations, partnerships, estates, trusts, and non-profits - Conduct research and consult on tax projects - Respond to inquiries from the IRS and other taxing authorities - Prepare extensions and quarterly estimates - Assist on special projects as assigned Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field required; Master of Tax preferred - Minimum of 1 year of related experience - Previous experience in a public accounting firm preferred - CPA or licensed attorney preferred. If not a CPA or licensed attorney, must meet educational requirements to obtain CPA or attorney license in state of employment upon hire - Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis upon hire - Excellent customer service, problem solving, critical thinking, and research skills - Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work effectively both as part of a team and independently - Highly motivated and takes initiative for professional growth and development - Outstanding organization and project management skills - Ability to take direction, exercise sound judgment, and tactfully communicate with clients - Ability to travel to client locations, which may include occasional overnight stays - Ability to work overtime, as needed - Proficient with Microsoft Office Moss Adams is an equal opportunity employer and complies with federal and state disability laws by making reasonable accommodations for applicants and employees with disabilities.
