As a Private Funds Lawyer at UBS, you will have the chance to work on a variety of challenging and novel initiatives. You will be responsible for helping structure and operate investment products such as commingled hedge funds, single investor funds, and managed accounts. This role will also involve drafting a wide range of fund formation and transaction documents, as well as advising on regulatory and compliance issues.

This is a full-time position within the legal team that covers UBS's asset management business in the Americas. You will primarily be advising the Hedge Fund Solutions (HFS) investment unit, which specializes in sourcing, monitoring, and managing multi-manager hedge fund portfolios. You will also have the opportunity to work closely with other functions within the company to launch new investment products and negotiate their terms with clients and investors.

To be successful in this role, you should have at least four years of relevant experience at a law firm or in-house at a hedge fund or investment bank. You should also have experience advising on private fund formations and lifecycle events, as well as an understanding of US and foreign regulations that affect private funds and their managers.
