Job Overview:

The Attorney will handle various aspects of real estate finance transactions, including loan origination, asset management, and workout experience. They must demonstrate high academic achievement, possess solid law firm experience, and excel in written and verbal communication.

Duties:

• Handle real estate finance transactions from inception through closing and post-closing activities.
• Manage loan origination work for large structured commercial real estate finance transactions.
• Execute secondary market repurchase facility work and other exit strategies.
• Provide asset management and workout experience as needed.

Requirements:

• JD degree from an accredited law school.
• 5+ years of broad real estate finance experience.
• Experience in handling transactions on behalf of lenders.
• Proficiency in large structured commercial real estate finance transactions.
• Strong writing and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in mezzanine loans and preferred equity.
• Familiarity with the real estate market in Saint Louis, MI.

Education and Certifications:

• JD degree from an accredited law school.
