The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing legal counsel and representation in workers' compensation defense cases. The role requires a thorough understanding of workers' compensation laws, dispute resolution, and effective advocacy skills.

 

Duties:

  • Defend clients in workers' compensation cases through all stages of the legal process.
  • Conduct case evaluations, legal research, and analysis to develop effective defense strategies.
  • Collaborate with clients, medical experts, and other legal professionals.
  • Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements.
  • Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, and hearings.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor degree from an ABA accredited law school.
  • Active State of Illinois and/or Missouri Law license, in good standing.
  • 0-10 years of experience in workers' compensation defense.
  • Strong knowledge of workers' compensation laws and regulations.
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication abilities.
