- Responsible for providing legal counsel to assigned clients within USAA
- Analyzes legal issues of routine and moderately complex nature and provides legal advice
- Engages with business clients to understand strategic and operational objectives
- Collaborates with internal stakeholders and Chief Legal Office
- Monitors and advises on changes in laws, regulations, and industry
- Supports senior attorneys and escalates matters with higher risk
- Must have Bachelor's and Juris Doctor degree from accredited schools
- Must be licensed and in good standing to practice law in one state or territory of the USA, or must pass State Bar exam within 10 months of hire date
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written
- Preferred experience in P&C Insurance contracts, claims, and/or coverage
- Military experience with related MOS's (Army 27A, Navy JAG Corp Officer, Marines 4402, 4405, 4406, 4410, 4411, 4417, USAF 51JX/5J0X1)
