A law firm is seeking an Associate Attorney for its Buffalo location. The Associate Attorney must be well-organized, self-motivated, detail-oriented, personable, and eager to work directly with clients. They will primarily handle Workers' Compensation cases.

Duties:

• Handle Workers' Compensation cases from start to finish.
• Conduct legal research and analysis.
• Prepare and file legal documents and pleadings.
• Represent clients in court hearings and proceedings.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
• Manage case deadlines and priorities.
• Provide legal advice and guidance to clients.

Requirements:

• 1-5 years of litigation experience.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Self-motivated and detail-oriented.
• Personable and able to work directly with clients.

Education:

Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

Admission to the New York State Bar.

Skills:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Strong research and writing abilities.
• Familiarity with Workers' Compensation law and procedures.
