A law firm in Rockford is currently seeking an Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited law school and possess an active State of Illinois and/or Missouri Law license in good standing. The Attorney will be responsible for handling commercial litigation matters and providing legal counsel to clients.

Duties:

• Represent clients in court proceedings, hearings, and negotiations.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategies.
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and contracts.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their legal needs and objectives.
• Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations affecting the firm's practice areas.
• Provide timely and accurate legal advice to clients.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Active State of Illinois and/or Missouri Law license in good standing.
• 0-10 years of commercial litigation experience.
