The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and experience attending court hearings, arbitrations, and mediations, as well as taking and defending depositions. Trial experience is desired. Duties: • Attend court hearings, arbitrations, and mediations on behalf of clients. • Take and defend depositions of witnesses and parties. • Draft discovery requests and responses, as well as contractual agreements. • Communicate effectively with clients and opposing counsel. • Prepare for and participate in trials when necessary. Requirements: • Juris Doctor (.) from an accredited law school. • Active membership in good standing with the Bar. • Should have 3 years of experience in insurance defense. • Strong knowledge of civil litigation procedures and rules. Education: Juris Doctor (.) from an accredited law school. Certifications: Active membership in the State Bar.
