A law firm in Tampa, FL, is seeking a Construction and Surety Attorney to join their nationally recognized Construction and Surety Group. This attorney will be responsible for handling a diverse range of construction and surety matters, including contract claims, transactions, arbitration, and litigation in state and Federal jurisdictions. The ideal candidate should have 1-8 years of experience in this field and be admitted to the Florida Bar.

Duties:

• Provide legal counsel and representation in construction and surety matters.
• Prepare and review contracts, agreements, and other legal documents related to construction projects.
• Advise clients on compliance with state and federal construction laws and regulations.
• Represent clients in arbitration and litigation proceedings related to construction disputes.
• Conduct legal research to stay up-to-date on relevant construction and surety laws.

Requirements:

• 1-8 years of experience in construction and surety law.
• Bar admission in the state of Florida is required.
• Strong legal research and writing skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Knowledge of relevant state and federal construction laws and regulations.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
