A law firm is currently seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Construction and Real Estate - Construction Transactions - Major Projects and EPC Contracts. The ideal candidate will possess 4-6 years of transactional experience in energy, renewable, transportation, and social infrastructure projects, including drafting and negotiating EPC contracts, P3 agreements, CMAR agreements, subcontractor and supply agreements, and other commercial contracting and project finance documents. Excellent writing skills, attention to detail, and strong academic credentials are required.

Job Overview: The selected candidate will be responsible for handling construction transactions related to major projects and EPC contracts, ensuring legal compliance, and providing legal counsel on various aspects of construction and real estate matters.

Duties:

  • Drafting and negotiating EPC contracts, P3 agreements, CMAR agreements, subcontractor and supply agreements, and other commercial contracting documents.
  • Providing legal advice and counsel on construction and real estate projects.
  • Conducting legal research and analysis related to construction law and project finance.
  • Reviewing and interpreting legal documents and agreements.
  • Collaborating with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to resolve legal issues and disputes.
  • Assisting with due diligence and risk assessment for construction projects.

Requirements:

  • 4-6 years of transactional experience in energy, renewable, transportation, and social infrastructure projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction law, project finance, and contract law.
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the State Bar of Indiana (or eligibility for admission by waiver).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the State Bar of Indiana (or eligibility for admission by waiver).

Skills:

  • Proficiency in drafting and negotiating EPC contracts, P3 agreements, CMAR agreements, and subcontractor and supply agreements.
