A law firm in Austin, TX, is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney who will be responsible for the following:

Job Overview: The Litigation Associate Attorney will manage a docket of personal injury cases, oversee staff, and represent clients in various legal proceedings.

Duties:

  • Filing petitions, pleadings, and motions with the court
  • Engaging in discovery processes, including interrogatories, requests for production, and depositions
  • Handling depositions of witnesses and experts
  • Attending court hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials
  • Managing a dedicated staff to ensure cases progress efficiently
  • Providing legal advice and guidance to clients throughout the litigation process

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school
  • Admission to the State Bar of Texas or ability to become admitted
  • Litigation experience, preferably in personal injury law
  • Strong understanding of civil procedure and litigation strategies
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently

Certifications:

  • Admission to the State Bar of Texas
