Overview: - As a Corporate Counsel for Procurement, you will play a crucial role in drafting and negotiating key agreements for Salesforce's internal business clients located in AMER and LATAM. - This is a full-time position with a competitive salary range of $176,800 - $243,100. - Join our team and be a part of a global company that values diversity, collaboration, and innovation. Responsibilities: - Partner with Salesforce's Global Strategic Sourcing group to draft and negotiate consulting, professional services, business process outsourcing, and contingent staffing agreements. - Collaborate with other Salesforce Legal colleagues to ensure privacy, employment, intellectual property, and compliance provisions are consistent with company standards. - Work closely with internal teams, including finance, insurance, technology infrastructure, and security, to ensure agreements align with corporate policies and processes. - Identify and implement process improvements, such as creating and updating legal templates and playbooks, and conducting training sessions. Required Skills/Experience: - Undergraduate and law degree. - State Bar membership. - 4-6 years of experience in a law firm and/or in-house, with a focus on negotiating inbound services agreements for various professional services, consulting, business process outsourcing, and contingent staffing. - Experience supporting a procurement department as an internal client. - Familiarity with negotiating privacy and security terms from the perspective of both a data controller and processor. - Excellent communication and negotiation skills. - Highly responsive and collaborative mindset. - Ability to handle competing matters and prioritize tasks, especially during high-volume periods. - Strong ability to build and maintain relationships with internal business stakeholders. - Familiarity with multiple contract templates. - Sound judgment in identifying and providing risk-appropriate solutions to business needs. Beneficial Skills/Experience: - Previous experience in a fast-paced global technology company or similar industry. - Experience negotiating employee benefits-related agreements. - Knowledge of intellectual property terms and applicable laws related to work for hire agreements. - Familiarity with an internal contract management system. - Proficiency in using Slack. - Fluency in Spanish and/or Portuguese. - Flexibility and a desire to learn and grow. - Sense of humor. - Strong work ethic and desire to have fun while doing it.
