Position Summary:
As Corporate Counsel, you will be an integral part of the Arizona Boardwalk team, providing general corporate and commercial legal services to achieve business goals while minimizing risk. Your responsibilities will include contract negotiation, leasing activities, real estate development, and business development.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:
• Act as lead counsel on real estate transactions
• Negotiate contracts and partnerships
• Lead property acquisitions, development, and disposition
• Prepare or review corporate documents
• Provide legal support for vendor contracts and other agreements
• Liaise with outside counsel

Requirements:
• Outstanding written and oral communication skills
• Strong collaboration and judgment abilities
• High integrity
• In-house counsel experience is a plus
• Proven track record in making decisions on complex legal and corporate issues

Minimum Qualifications:
• Juris Doctor and active membership in a state bar
• 5-10 years of legal experience, preferably in a business lawyer role in an in-house legal department
• MBA degree preferred
• Strong understanding of contract and legal principles
• Ability to work independently and proactively find solutions for business issues
• Attention to detail and accuracy in analyses and communications
• Ability to communicate complex legal issues clearly and concisely

Physical and Medical Requirements:
• Allergies controlled by medication or protective equipment
• Ability to push/pull up to 50 pounds
• Willingness to work 40+ hours per week, including weekends and holidays
• Ability to stand, walk, and use hands
• Ability to balance, stoop, kneel, climb stairs, and crawl
• Frequent talking and hearing
• No impairments that may interfere with work
• Specific vision requirements
• Ability to work in loud and extreme weather conditions
