Duties:

• Draft and prosecute patents in the field of chemistry and chemical engineering.
• Provide intellectual property advice and support to clients.
• Collaborate with attorneys and clients to understand invention details.
• Conduct patentability searches and analyze prior art.
• Prepare and file patent applications with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).

Requirements:

• A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
• Strong chemistry background with a degree in chemical engineering or chemistry.
• Membership with the USPTO.
• Advanced degrees and/or work experience before the agency exam are strongly preferred.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering or chemistry.

Certifications:

• Membership with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).
