Duties:

  • Handle the preparation and trial of insurance coverage and defense litigation cases in federal and state courts.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis on insurance coverage issues.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
  • Prepare for and represent clients in court hearings, arbitrations, and mediations.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and stakeholders.
  • Conduct discovery, including drafting and responding to discovery requests.
  • Develop case strategies and provide legal advice to clients.
  • Stay updated on developments in insurance law and legal precedents.

 

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in insurance coverage and defense litigation.
  • Admission to the New York Bar.
  • Admission to the New Jersey Bar (preferred).
  • Strong writing skills with attention to detail.
  • Experience handling cases in federal and state courts.
