Legal Business Associate - Senior Tax Legal Business Services

Position Summary:

- Seeking a Legal Business Associate with experience in technology to join our growing Tax Technology Consulting (TTC) team.
- This role will involve working with clients to implement technology solutions, automate processes, and manage data and analytics.
- Responsibility for client management, project delivery, developing innovative solutions, and providing training and support.
- Opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of Deloitte Tax LLP and position the company as a leader in legal technology.

What You'll Do:

- Manage client relationships and work with a team to optimize tax and legal processes through technology.
- Develop and leverage automation and innovative solutions to improve efficiency for tax and legal departments.
- Provide training and support for software and processes.
- Assist with project management and participate in cross-functional teams to understand the broader practice and serve clients holistically.
- Contribute to the development of team members and participate in business development pursuits.

The Team:

- Deloitte Tax LLP's Tax Technology Consulting (TTC) practice helps tax departments streamline and enhance their processes through technology.
- The team is global and offers a combination of tax technical and technology skillsets to effectively address clients' needs.
- TTC's business services include operating model evaluation, data management solutions, automation opportunities, and more.

Qualifications:

Required:

- Ability to work in a hybrid model, with in-person work required 2-3 days per week.
- 3+ years of experience in legal and/or technology solutions.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Experience with one or more of the following: contract lifecycle management software, document extraction tools, data wrangling tools, visualization/BI tools, or Salesforce configuration.
- Ability to travel up to 50%.
- One of the following accreditations: CPA, licensed attorney, enrolled agent, PMP, CCM, CFA, PMI-ACP, CCMP, CBAP, procurement/legal procurement, SAS certified data scientist, paralegal certification, Six Sigma, MCSD, CSEP, CISSP-ISSAP, DocuSign, iCertis, Onit Product Suite, Conga CLM, Agiloft, Sirion Labs, Kira, Thomson Reuters, Wolters Kluwer Passport, Mitratech Team Connect, or TAP.

Preferred:

- Advanced degree in related field.
- Experience with template rationalization and harmonization, guide/playbook creation, and contracting process design.

Salary Information:

- The range for this role is $80,920 to $184,210, taking into account factors such as skill sets, experience, and location.
- Eligible for discretionary annual incentive program.
