# Tax Staff Moss Adams is currently seeking an entry-level Tax Staff to join their team. The role is a full-time position and is located in the Pacific Northwest (PNW). ## Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications: * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Master of Tax or JD/LLM preferred * Must meet educational requirements to obtain CPA license upon hire in the state of employment * Legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis upon hire * Technology-related coursework highly desirable * Excellent customer service skills * Creative problem solving, critical thinking and research skills * Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills * Work effectively both as part of a team and independently * Highly motivated and embrace challenges as an opportunity to grow * Outstanding organization and project management skills * Ability to work overtime, as needed * Proficient with Microsoft Office ## Responsibilities The Tax Staff will primarily be responsible for the following: * Preparing tax returns, including supporting work papers for various types of returns such as individuals, corporations, partnerships, estates, trusts, non-profits, etc. * Researching and consulting on various tax projects * Responding to inquiries from the IRS and other taxing authorities * Preparing extensions and quarterly estimates * Carrying out other projects as assigned ## Compensation This position offers a competitive salary with the following ranges based on location: * Washington State (excluding Greater Seattle Area): $69,300-$75,600 * Greater Seattle Area - Seattle, Everett, Tacoma: $72,000-$75,600 This position may also be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. ## Benefits Moss Adams offers employees a comprehensive benefits package that includes the following: * Five weeks paid vacation to start * Flexible work schedule * Continued education reimbursement * Employer 401(k) match ## About Moss Adams Moss Adams is a values-driven firm that provides the world’s most innovative companies with specialized accounting, consulting, and wealth management services to help them embrace emerging opportunity.
