Duties:

  • Act as a key member of a team handling major transactions and project development matters.
  • Supervise and manage junior associates, working closely with partners.
  • Draft and review legal documents, contracts, and agreements related to project finance, development, and implementation.
  • Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis on regulatory and compliance issues within the energy industry.
  • Analyze and synthesize new information pertinent to energy projects and transactions.
  • Foster and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders in the energy sector.

Requirements:

  • 4-6 years of experience in major projects and transactions, preferably in the energy and infrastructure sectors.
  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Bar in the jurisdiction of Texas.
  • Proficiency in energy transition practices, including renewables, hydrogen (H2), carbon capture and storage (CCS), LNG, or electric power sectors preferred.
  • Strong drafting skills and contract analysis capabilities.
  • Ability to effectively manage a team and collaborate closely with partners.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Genuine interest in the energy industry and a solid understanding of clients' businesses.

Certifications:
