Meta, previously known as Facebook, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lead Counsel to join our Ad Sales Legal team. This role will provide strategic legal support to our Global Business Group and Small Business Group Americas sales teams. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on novel issues and contribute to the success of our fast-paced and innovative company.

Responsibilities:
- Serve as a frontline legal advisor to the Americas Sales teams, supporting large and small advertisers utilizing Meta's advertising and business tools.
- Develop scalable resources, trainings, and guidance to address legal, regulatory, compliance, and policy inquiries from Sales and advertisers.
- Analyze product terms, policies, and initiatives to provide practical legal risk mitigation strategies across multiple jurisdictions in the Americas.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to support Sales and advertiser communications and go-to-market launches.
- Coordinate with Legal teams across Privacy, Competition, Regulatory, Litigation, Compliance, Integrity, and Employment to support Global Business Group and Small Business Group goals and objectives.

Qualifications:
- . degree (or foreign equivalent) and active membership in at least one . state bar.
- 5+ years of legal experience as a practicing attorney, including at a law firm or in-house.
- Knowledge of legal frameworks related to data-driven advertising, including regulations and restrictions.
- Experience advising on legal and regulatory issues, particularly in the areas of online advertising, mobile platforms, social networking, or other technologies.
- Ability to manage legal risk across multiple jurisdictions.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with mobile application development, software development, machine learning, or other internet technologies.
- Prior in-house experience.
- Ability to manage simultaneous projects in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment.
- Experience collaborating with all levels of a business, including executives and C-suite.
