Job Overview:

The Litigation Associate Attorney will be responsible for handling a diverse caseload in civil litigation and/or white-collar and related investigations. The successful candidate must possess excellent academic credentials and have 2-4 years of broad-based experience, preferably from a top law firm. Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills are essential for this role.

Duties:

  • Manage a variety of litigation matters, including case analysis, strategy development, and courtroom representation.
  • Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and partners to develop case strategies and execute legal initiatives.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and internal stakeholders.
  • Participate in depositions, hearings, arbitrations, and trials as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate and organized case files and documentation.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the New York State Bar or eligibility for admission via reciprocity.
  • 2-4 years of experience in civil litigation and/or white-collar and related investigations.
  • Excellent academic credentials, including a strong academic record.
  • Prior experience at a reputable law firm is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle complex legal matters independently.
