- The Office of the Attorney General offers unpaid internships for law students enrolled in an accredited ABA law school.
- Interns will have the opportunity to gain practical experience in a legal field and contribute to meaningful work towards their degree.
- The Consumer Protection Division is responsible for enforcing state and federal consumer protection laws against entities and individuals engaged in deceptive or unfair practices.
- Interns may also have the opportunity to work with other state attorneys general and state/federal agencies in joint enforcement efforts.
- Application deadlines are June 30 for fall, September 30 for spring, and January 31 (extended to March 1 for 2024) for summer.
- Applicants must be able to intern a minimum of 20 hours per week and provide necessary documentation.
- Positions are available in various divisions and locations, including Daytona Beach, Jacksonville, Miami, Orlando, Tallahassee, and more.
- Applicants must pass a security screening and drug test before being offered an internship.
- Law students in their 2nd and 3rd year will be expected to provide a writing sample during the interview process.
