A law firm in Coral Gables, FL, is seeking a qualified and compassionate Guardianship Attorney to support the senior attorney in reviewing petitions and providing legal assistance to individuals and families in need. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and negotiation skills, exceptional research and analytical abilities, and a genuine understanding of the complexities involved in guardianship cases.

Duties:

• Assist the senior attorney in reviewing guardianship petitions and legal documents.
• Conduct legal research to support case strategies and provide comprehensive analysis.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
• Attend hearings, depositions, and other legal proceedings as required.
• Collaborate with the legal team to develop case strategies and ensure legal compliance.
• Provide guidance and support to clients, demonstrating compassion and understanding.

Requirements:

• Active Bar membership in the state of Florida.
• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Previous experience in guardianship law or related fields is preferred.
• Strong legal research and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Compassionate and empathetic approach when dealing with vulnerable individuals and their families.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active Bar membership in the state of Florida.
