Job Overview: A law firm in New York City is seeking a motivated Junior Energy Transactional Associate Attorney to join its team. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience in Energy & Infrastructure transactions, possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, and demonstrate expertise in financing and/or private M&A transactions.

Duties:

• Assist in drafting and negotiating transaction documents related to energy and infrastructure projects.
• Conduct legal research and analysis on various energy-related matters.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on due diligence, deal structuring, and client communications.
• Participate in client meetings and contribute to the development of legal strategies.

Requirements:

• 2-3 years of experience with Energy & Infrastructure transactions.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience in financing and/or private M&A transactions.
• Preferred experience in project and energy financing and/or energy and infrastructure-related M&A transactions.
• Knowledge of tax equity and/or IRA credit is desirable.
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the New York, District of Columbia Bar, or Texas Bar, active and in good standing.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
