The Office of General Counsel (OGC) at KPMG is currently looking for an Associate General Counsel with a focus on litigation, specifically on the Practice Protection Team. This role will provide legal support and counsel for civil litigation, regulatory investigations, and other legal processes for the Firm.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide legal counsel for actual and potential civil litigation, third-party subpoenas, and regulatory investigations
- Represent KPMG and its professionals in civil litigation and regulatory proceedings
- Develop and implement strategies to successfully resolve litigation and regulatory matters
- Supervise and collaborate with outside counsel and other members of OGC
- Report to and consult with senior leadership on legal issues
- Assist in financial projections for legal matters

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 18 years of experience in a well-regarded law firm or in-house legal department
- JD or LLM from an accredited law school and licensed to practice law in the .
- Experience in defending complex litigations and regulatory investigations involving accounting firms or financial institutions preferred
- Ability to manage multiple legal matters and meet deadlines with high-quality results
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion
