A law firm in Coral Gables, FL, is seeking a dedicated Guardianship Attorney to assist the senior attorney in reviewing petitions. The ideal candidate must possess an active Bar membership, demonstrate strong communication and negotiation skills, and exhibit exceptional research and analytical abilities. The role requires a compassionate and understanding approach when dealing with vulnerable individuals and their families.

Duties:

• Assist the senior attorney in reviewing guardianship petitions and related legal documents.
• Conduct legal research to support case preparation and provide accurate legal advice.
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and affidavits, as needed.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and other relevant parties.
• Attend court hearings, mediations, and negotiations to represent clients' interests.

Requirements:

• Active Bar membership in the state of Florida.
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Previous experience in guardianship law or related areas is preferred.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to articulate legal concepts clearly.
• Exceptional research and analytical abilities to assess complex legal issues.
• Compassionate and understanding demeanor when dealing with vulnerable individuals and their families.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active Bar membership in the state of Florida.
