The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of litigation experience, a command of New York practice, and the ability to conduct depositions and draft dispositive motions with minimal oversight. Duties:

  • Conduct depositions and draft dispositive motions with minimal oversight.
  • Interact confidently with attorney-clients and other professional clients.
  • Utilize a working knowledge of federal practice, where applicable.
  • Collaborate with legal team members to develop case strategies and tactics.

 

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of litigation experience, preferably in professional liability defense.
  • Command of New York practice.
  • Ability to conduct depositions and draft dispositive motions independently.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Confidence in interacting with attorney-clients and professional clients.
  • Working knowledge of federal practice is a plus.

 

Education and Certifications:

  • Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the New York Bar.

 

Skills:

  • Litigation experience, particularly in professional liability defense.
  • Strong command of New York practice.
  • Ability to independently conduct depositions and draft dispositive motions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
