A law firm is seeking a highly experienced and accomplished Insurance Coverage Managing Partner to lead its department, manage client relationships, drive business development, and contribute significantly to the firm's revenue. The ideal candidate will have a substantial book of business, proven expertise in insurance coverage, and a track record of successful litigation and advisory roles.

 

Job Details:

  • Led the insurance coverage department, managing client relationships and driving business development.
  • Handle a variety of insurance coverage cases, including property damage claims, car accident cases, health insurance benefits, disability cases, and business liability claims.
  • Provide expert legal advice, prepare legal documents, perform legal research, draft case documentation, and deliver coverage opinions.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and client retention.
  • Engage in negotiations and communications on behalf of clients.
  • Utilize your own book of business to contribute significantly to the firm’s revenue.
  • Actively seek new clients and business opportunities for the firm.
  • Oversee and mentor a team of attorneys and support staff within the department.
  • Contribute to the strategic direction and growth of the insurance coverage practice.
  • Represent clients in civil court as necessary, leveraging persuasive communication and superior written skills.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree and Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to practice in Florida.
  • 5+ years of experience in insurance coverage, including both litigation and advisory roles.


Skills:

  • Substantial book of business demonstrating the ability to generate significant revenue for the firm.
  • Strong analytical and research skills (preferable).
  • Excellent interpersonal and persuasive communication skills.
  • Proven leadership and team management abilities (preferred).
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
