A law firm is seeking a Pre-litigation Attorney in Bryan, Texas. The attorney will be responsible for meeting with clients, conducting motion work, managing discovery, handling depositions, and representing clients in mediations. Additionally, the role involves developing and implementing strategies to foster productive relationships with the support team and aligning with the firm's overarching goals.

Duties:

• Meet with clients to discuss legal matters and provide counsel.
• Conduct motion work, including drafting pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Manage the discovery process, including drafting and responding to discovery requests.
• Conduct and defend depositions.
• Represent clients in mediations.
• Develop and implement strategies to foster productive relationships with the support team.
• Align strategies with the firm's overarching goals and objectives.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
• State Bar certification in Texas.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of personal injury experience or related legal experience.
• Proficiency in MS Office and Outlook.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills.
• Bilingual proficiency is a plus.

Education:

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from a law school accredited by the American Bar Association (ABA).

Certifications:

State Bar certification in Texas.

Skills:

• Proficiency in MS Office and Outlook.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills.
• Bilingual proficiency is a plus.
