The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of experience in government investigations, internal investigations, and other white-collar and regulatory matters. They should possess superior academic credentials from a top law school and demonstrate excellent writing, research, analytical, and communication skills. Fluency in Spanish, Portuguese, and/or German is required.

Job Overview:

The Associate Attorney will be responsible for handling government investigations, internal investigations, and various white-collar and regulatory matters. They will work closely with partners and senior associates, providing legal support and contributing to the firm's success.

Duties:

  • Conducting legal research and analysis on complex issues related to government investigations, internal investigations, and regulatory compliance.
  • Drafting legal documents, including memoranda, briefs, motions, and other court filings.
  • Participating in client meetings, hearings, and negotiations.
  • Assisting in case management, including organizing documents, preparing discovery materials, and managing deadlines.
  • Collaborating with attorneys and staff to develop case strategies and solutions.
  • Providing guidance and mentorship to junior associates and legal assistants.

Requirements:

  • 2-4 years of experience in handling government investigations, internal investigations, and white-collar and regulatory matters.
  • Superior academic credentials from a top law school.
  • Admission to the California State Bar or eligibility to waive into the California Bar.
  • Excellent writing, research, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Fluency in Spanish, Portuguese, and/or German.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (.) from an accredited law school.
