Job Overview:

The Pre-Litigation Personal Injury Attorney will manage all aspects of pre-litigation work, guide clients through the case process, oversee settlement negotiations, and lead a team of Case Managers. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, exceptional communication abilities, and a commitment to delivering high-quality client service.

Duties:

  • Day-to-day handling of all pre-litigation work
  • Complete the flip-to-lit approval
  • Guide clients through the case process
  • Drafting and filing of pre-litigation documents
  • Complete TD approval for liability issues
  • Oversee settlement negotiations and the formation of demand packages
  • Manage the release approval process
  • Manage a team of Case Managers
  • Focus on Personal injury cases
  • Drive compliance and KPIs amongst the team

Requirements:

  • Law degree from a fully accredited law school
  • An active member in good standing with the Texas State Bar
  • 2-5 years of personal injury experience
  • Ability to manage a high volume of pre-lit cases
  • Excellent client service and communication skills
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Self-starter driven by long-term career goals
  • Superior writing and oral advocacy skills
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Winning attitude
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients
  • Used to adapting to an ever-changing environment and handling multiple priorities
  • Excellent oral communication with an outgoing personality
  • Able to multitask and learn new laws quickly
