  • Demonstrate a strong business sense and proactively manage internal and external client and counsel relationships.

  • Communicate complex legal matters concisely and effectively in both oral and written forms.
  • Uphold a commitment to delivering excellent client service and maintaining a high standard of work ethic.

Requirements:

  • 3-6 years of significant experience in emerging companies and venture capital work.
  • Bar Admission in California.
  • Experience in domestic mergers and acquisitions transactions, particularly for startup companies and investors.
  • Proactive attitude with strong business and legal problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with technology, life sciences, and/or CPG businesses.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Bar Admission in California.

Skills:

  • Excellent negotiation and transaction management skills.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Entrepreneurial and innovative mindset.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and take on increased responsibility for transactions.
