KPMG, a top-ranked company known for its inclusive culture and commitment to individual development, is seeking an Associate General Counsel to join their Office of General Counsel (OGC) in the Litigation group.

Responsibilities:

- Provide legal counsel for civil litigation, third-party subpoenas, and regulatory investigations
- Represent KPMG and its professionals in civil litigation proceedings and regulatory investigations
- Develop and implement strategies for successful and cost-effective resolution of litigation claims and regulatory investigations
- Supervise and collaborate with outside counsel and other members of OGC for high-quality legal representation
- Report and consult with senior leaders on issues arising in litigation and regulatory matters
- Assist in financial projections for supervised matters

Qualifications:

- Minimum 18 years of experience in a well-regarded law firm or in-house legal department
- JD or LLM from an accredited law school and licensed to practice law in the .
- Experience with complex civil litigation and regulatory investigations involving accounting firms, professional organizations, or financial institutions preferred
- Ability to manage multiple litigations and projects, think strategically, and uphold ethical standards
- Excellent analytical, writing, and communication skills, with a client-service orientation and ability to build strong partnerships
- Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion at the enterprise level

Salary Information:

- Salary ranges vary by location and are determined based on factors such as skills, job responsibilities, experience, and market considerations.
- Comprehensive benefits package offered, including medical and dental plans, vision coverage, disability and life insurance, 401(k) plans, and personal well-being benefits.
- Personal Time Off provided based on job classification, standard work hours, and years of service.
- Two firmwide breaks each year where employees are not required to use Personal Time Off.
