Responsibilities:

- Refine skillset by working with large-scaled operating partnership tax clients
- Diversify industry experience by working on various industries
- Deliver value to clients experiencing a public offering
- Assist clients with public offering transactions
- Work with Up-C clients on an on-going basis
- Develop an understanding of the public monetization transactional process
- Create cutting-edge technology that evolves around . federal income tax principles
- Implement strategic tax structures and processes
- Oversee complex tax computation projects for clients
- Determine and solve complexities with . federal income tax impact
- Participate in marketplace activities, recruiting, and process and technology innovation
- Identify service opportunities, manage client accounts, and advance Deloitte initiatives

Qualifications:

Required:

- Ability to perform job responsibilities within a hybrid work model
- 2+ years of experience in federal partnership tax
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or business-related field
- Numerical-problem-solving focus
- Aptitude in MS Project, Word, Excel, and Visio
- Experience working in a fast-paced, team environment
- Demonstrated research skills
- Self-starter and ability to handle multiple, competing priorities
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to travel up to 25%
- One of the following accreditations obtained, in process, or willing and able to obtain:
- Licensed CPA in state of practice/primary office
- Licensed attorney
- Enrolled Agent
- Certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP), Chartered Financial Advisor (CFA)

Preferred:

- Advanced degree such as master's in science of tax (MST), JD, or LLM
- Previous Big 4 or large CPA firm experience
- Transaction and M&A experience
- Alteryx experience

Salary Information:

- Wage range: $77,070 to $175,500 (not adjusted for geographic differential)
- Eligible for discretionary annual incentive program
