A law firm in Philadelphia, PA, is seeking an experienced Coverage Litigation Associate Attorney to focus on UIM bad faith litigation. The role will involve occasional pre-litigation consultation, drafting coverage opinions, and potentially insurance fraud investigation and litigation. The firm places high value on strong analytical, writing, research, and communication skills.

Duties:

• Focus on UIM bad faith litigation with occasional involvement in pre-litigation consultation.
• Draft coverage opinions on insurance matters.
• Potentially engage in insurance fraud investigation and litigation.
• Conduct legal research to support case strategies.
• Prepare and attend hearings, depositions, and other legal proceedings.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and partners on complex coverage cases.
• Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on coverage issues.
• Stay abreast of developments in insurance law and regulations.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 4 years of legal experience.
• Strong background in coverage litigation, particularly UIM bad faith.
• Experience in pre-litigation consultation and drafting coverage opinions.
• Familiarity with insurance fraud investigation and litigation (preferred).
• Admission to the Pennsylvania State Bar.

Education:

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

Admission to the Pennsylvania State Bar.

Skills:

• Strong analytical, writing, research, and communication skills.
• Ability to handle complex coverage cases.
• Familiarity with insurance fraud investigation (preferred).
