The National Tax team at Moss Adams plays a crucial role in achieving the firm's tax practice goals. This team collaborates with tax leaders and team members from across the firm and is responsible for providing technical tax services, training, and staying informed on developing tax legislation.

Responsibilities:

- Serve as a trusted tax technical resource for the firm by developing relationships and responding to inquiries
- Drive resolution of complex tax technical matters and identify opportunities for tax technical services
- Lead technical tax research and communicate findings
- Manage projects and provide coaching and development to team members
- Collaborate with the Learning & Development team to provide tax technical training
- Develop written tax communications related to technical tax matters
- Evaluate implications of new tax law changes and provide recommendations to tax leadership
- Conduct technical research related to tax positions
- Participate in internal and external activities to gain visibility and recognition within a technical specialization

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, with a preference for an emphasis in accounting or a related field
- Minimum of 7 years of tax professional experience, with experience in public accounting or law firms preferred
- CPA or Bar License required
- Experience coaching and managing a team
- Advanced knowledge of technical taxation and research software
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work autonomously
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to travel as needed

Compensation information:

While the typical range of pay for this position is $131,000 - $260,000, actual pay may vary based on factors such as experience, skillset, and location.
