Duties:

  • Provide legal counsel and representation to clients in matters related to financial lines insurance, including financial institutions, directors & officers, professional liability, and other similar coverage lines.
  • Conduct coverage analysis, monitoring, and litigation for insurance claims.
  • Participate in marketing and thought leadership efforts, which may include drafting practice-related publications, involvement in professional associations, client presentations, and speaking engagements.
  • Perform legal research, analysis, and draft legal documents as required.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and partners on complex cases and client matters.
  • Assist in negotiations, settlements, and courtroom proceedings.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Licensed to practice law in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Florida, Texas, Illinois, and/or California.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Excellent writing, research, and analytical skills.
  • 3 years of relevant experience preferred.

Skills:

  • In-depth knowledge of financial lines insurance and related coverage lines.
  • Legal research and analysis proficiency.
  • Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
