Job Title: General Counsel
Experience Level: 5+ years in Legal function with 4 years of management experience
Location: Remote (Canada or United States)

Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with senior leadership to develop legal strategies that support organizational success
- Drive operational excellence and efficiency in legal processes such as proposal and contract management, vendor contracts, and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
- Partner with Quality to oversee people compliance and risk management
- Partner with People on employment, HR compliance, and corporate planning
- Develop and lead the workforce strategy for the company

What You'll Bring:

- 5+ years of experience in the Legal function with at least 4 years of management experience
- Experience at a scaling startup preferred
- Experience in a biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or clinical research preferred
