Duties:

• Provide legal counsel and representation to clients in labor and employment law matters.
• Conduct legal research, analysis, and drafting of legal documents.
• Assist in preparing and presenting cases for arbitration, mediation, and litigation.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and partners on complex legal matters.
• Maintain client relationships and provide responsive and effective communication.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in labor and employment law.
• Experience in higher education law is highly regarded.
• Superior verbal, writing, and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work directly with clients.
• Ability to develop and execute service strategies effectively.
• Licensed to practice in New York State or eligible to waive into the New York State Bar.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the New York State Bar or eligibility to waive into the New York State Bar.
