## Tax Senior - Investment Mgmt - Private Wealth Deloitte's Private Wealth Tax practice is seeking a Tax Senior to join their team and provide comprehensive, independent, and objective wealth transfer planning advice to their ultra-affluent clients. This position is available in 30 locations across the East Coast. ### Responsibilities The Tax Senior will be responsible for: - Performing high-level reviews of tax research of individual, fiduciary, partnership, closely-held corporations, estate, and gift work papers and tax returns. - Preparing and assisting in client meetings on compliance and consulting projects related to tax planning opportunities and the tax implications of transactions to the client. - Assisting in the development of tax strategies that best meet the client’s needs. - Keeping up to date with changes in the tax regulations and laws. ### Qualifications - 3+ years’ experience providing tax planning services or preparing and reviewing client work papers and income tax returns. - Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or other business-related field. - One of the following accreditations obtained, in process, or willing and able to obtain: Licensed CPA in state of practice/primary office if eligible to sit for the CPA, licensed attorney, enrolled agent, Chartered Financial Advisor (CFA), or Certified Financial Planner (CFP). - Experience reviewing trust documents. - Excellent technology (., Microsoft Excel and compliance software), research, and writing skills. - Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. - Ability to travel up to 25%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve. Preferred qualifications include an advanced degree such as MST, JD, or LLM and prior Big 4 experience. ### Salary The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $63,420 to $144,300.
